"These work well for my mini donkey and Shetland pony for their chopped hay. They are sturdy and easy to clean. They stay put and so far have not been turned over!I have not tried them with soaked pellets. They are not big enough for my draft sized horses though"

"Yes, they are smelly, so I put them outdoors in full sun for a few days, brought them in and washed with dish soap and baking soda. The baking soda helped a lot! Horses don't seem to mind and although I was skeptical about their being lighter weight than I expected, they are working great!"
