These fly mask is designed with a removable, extendable nose option that is tapered to follow the contoured shape of the muzzle for those horses that need extra coverage on their faces during turnout. The mask is constructed using a 350D extra fine “window screen” nylon mesh. It allows for the best airflow, staying cool in direct sunlight with a 40% UV protection rating, and provides an optimal shield from the smallest biting bugs, including tiny gnats. This mask is optimal for horses who live in hot, buggy climates and need a mask that will keep them from getting insect bites.

When your horse is irritated by biting insects flying around their ears, a fly mask with ear coverage can help! This fly mask is designed with soft mesh ears that keep even the smallest biting insects out of your horse’s sensitive ears.

With or Without Nose Coverage

You can choose this mask to include an extended nosepiece for extra coverage and protection against pesky insects and unwanted sunburns. The nosepiece is tapered and shaped to fit the contoured design of your horse's muzzle and does not interfere with grazing or airflow.

A Safe and Secure Fit

There are two hook and loop closures, one under the cheek/chin and one throatlatch, for the best fit. Plus, we included a slot at the poll to allow neck cover attachment.

Added Reflective Trim for Safety

For extra safety precautions, we’ve added a reflective strip down the face and on the hook and loop closure to enhance visibility in low-light and dark scenarios.

"I have tried several different brands of fly masks and the Schneiders® Mosquito Mesh® II Fly Mask with Ears has outlasted the others and is very high quality! Both of our mustangs suffer from sweet itch so they do alot of rubbing. The heavy duty mesh helps keep them protected from midges and other insects. The double velcro latches are definitely a bonus and I especially like that the neck covers attach to the fly mask to help keep everything in place. The fleece trim also is more gentle on their head and neck especially when they wear these a majority of the time. Will be purchasing more in the future!"
