  • Semi-quarter bars for modern conformations
  • Close contact feel with pre-turned fenders
  • Stainless steel, heavy-duty hardware
  • Built on a wooden, reinforced fiberglass tree

  • 5-year warranty on tree

Key benefits

Balanced With a Close Contact Feel

The cut-out fenders were designed with a close contact feel in mind to improve communication between you and your horse. Plus, the padded roughout seat offers all-day comfort and balance.

Heavy Stainless Hardware

The stainless steel cinch rings and training rings are durable and resist corrosion. The in-tree rigging is attached directly to the tree to help protect the shoulder and offers room between the elbow and cinch to avoid pressure points.

Leather Latigo Cinch Straps

Unlike traditional nylon straps, the leather latigo tie and off-billet straps grant flexibility and suppleness that will not impede your horse’s movements, chafe, heat up, or burn.

Pre-Turned Fenders

With pre-turned fenders, your legs and feet will fall into a more correct position, preventing knee and ankle stress.

Comfortable Saddle For The Price

"I purchased this saddle as an every day saddle to save my show saddle. The seat is very comfortable. Description says full quarter horse in one place and then semi quarter bars in another place. Fortunately it fits my half-Arab fine. My only complaint about this saddle like other saddles I have purchased is the stirrup length is too long. It starts getting pricey when you have to take the saddle to a saddle shop to get them shortened. I think it’s worth it at this point"

Double S Roughtout Saddle

"Bought this saddle for my junior mare to use for training. She's halter bred and it fit her beautifully. Much lighter than I anticipated as my other training saddles are very heavy. I have enjoyed the lightweight of it though. I have only had it for about a month so I do not know the durability of the saddle yet however so far it's holding up. Stirrups are finally starting to break in. All in all good product."

Good Saddle - Good Price

"I purchased this saddle because I needed a light weight every day saddle to use vs. my show saddle. I was interested in the Double S Roughout Training Saddle but by the time I was ready to purchase that one only had 15 inch seats available. Based on the reviews of that one I took a chance on this one. Saddle in attractive, light weight, comfortable and needs no breaking in time. The leather is not as thick as a higher end saddle but not junk, it appears very durable and is very soft. The the fenders are nylon lined which will help with durability and help prevent stretching. The saddle fits my stout quarter horse very well and he moves very freely in it. Cons - the cantle is not firm or hard but rather flexible, there are a couple of spots on the front near the gullet where you can see where the leather was glued and it looks a little cheap. I am not super crazy about the stirrups and would have preferred narrower raw hide stirrups but they work fine - personal preference. The nylon off billet and cinch strap are a bit flimsy - I may replace those soon. Over all I think this saddle is worth the money - I primarily ride English but wanted a rough out saddle for training and trail rides and this fits the bill!"
