"My 18+ hand horse is tough on boots. These boots last longer than others I’ve tried. The double velcro holds well (he eventually rubs the stitching to the point of failure …but they are well stitched and again last longer. ) Plus the fleece top appear to lessen his general irritation with boots. Finally, the ability to buy XXL size helps me since other retailers do not carry a size that fits him."

"Being an old broad I couldn't use those pull-on boots for turnout for my horse that had special, corrective shoes. I had used another brand of "double-lock" bell boots, but they rubbed a raw place on his pastern in one day of turnout. I do take these off at night, and you do have to wash them (I mostly just hose them off) to keep the dirt out of the fleece, but they are very workable boots for my situation."
