The most accurate and easiest way to determine your horse’s blanket size is to measure along the side of their body, from chest to tail. First, stand the horse square on a flat surface. Measure from the center of the chest, straight back to the very edge of the tail. Make sure to measure along the widest part of their shoulder and hindquarters. "It definitely repelled the flies! But the knit material tended to slide backwards but would not slide forward against the hair. So it started rubbing him where his neck meets his chest. I had to undo all the straps to reposition it. Perhaps having a halter on the horse to anchor the attached neck strap would help. But my horses are all on 24 hour turnout and I won't put even a break-away halter on one."
