Dura-Tech Stifle Ice Wraps
"This is a great idea, since icing the stifle joint for any length of time. HOWEVER, in my view, the wall of the ice pocket is too thick, so not enough cold is transferred. Also, one of the packets didn’t hold-up and gel leaked out of it."

Perfect stifle solution!
"Our little girl was, unfortunately, involved in a horrific accident, that required stitches and a whole lot of other treatments. I purchased this stifle wrap, because of a review left on here, and how it helped hold on bandages. As you may already know, the stifle is an extremely hard area to treat, and I have been thoroughly impressed with this high quality stifle wrap! Yes, it holds bandages in place, but it also does a whole lot more, and adds compression to lesson severe swelling, and helped to omit proud flesh, along with wonder powder, because we caught it early. If it slips off the back of the croup, you have it on backwards, as I first did. Pay attention to the picture for guidance, and once you get it to fit, just leave the velcro straps in place, for perfect repeat uses. I washed it in warm water on delicate cycle, in a jumbo laundry mesh bag, for a perfect solution. It dries over night, lined dried. I love this so much, I bough another one, to use alternating with washing. It's not to be worn over night, especially if your horse lays down, as it will be a bundled mess come morning, but worn for several hours, and then removed at bedtime, works wonders! Nothing is perfect for the stifle, but this wrap has helped our little girl tremendously, and has aided in her healing. Thank you so much for carrying this product! It will come in handy as our business grows, to help other horses in need. Many blessings!"

Doesn't make stifle cold
"They are well made and fairly easy to use, but after trying them multiple times to make sure they were touching the stifle in the right place, I just don't feel like they are effective. As soon as I took them off, I touched where the ice packs were and the skin was barely cool, not cold as you'd want with ice. Cold hosing was much more effective, but I was hoping to find a solution where I didn't have to stand there. So if you want to actually ice a stifle, I recommend saving your money and just sticking with cold hosing."

Severe Wound
"After a severe injury, this wrap is helping to keep bandages and antibiotics in place and is also protecting the wound from frostbite. The stifle is a very hard part of the horse's body to keep a bandage in place and this wrap is doing a great job."
