Crisscross Surcingles, Leg Straps and Gussets
Crisscross surcingles pass under the belly for greater stability. Detachable elastic leg straps keep the sheet from turning, and come off for cleaning or replacement. The extended gussets let your horse move freely.

Measure once, order once. Most horses nail their size on the first try.

Gather Your SuppliesYou'll need a soft measuring tape. A second pair of hands helps keep it level.

Measure Chest to TailRun the tape from the center of the chest to the center of the tail. Keep it level.

Senior VTEK® Wither Relief Fit Guide Designed with our Senior VTEK® Wither Relief fit, this sheet is well suited for older horses with a high, prominent wither, sunken shoulders, a weakening topline, and protruding hip bones. Measure chest to tail, along the side of the body across the widest part of the shoulder and hindquarters. If you land between sizes, size up — a snug fit causes pinching and rubs. We took our already great fitting Patented VTEK® Wither Relief and extended it 4" forward and 2" backwards increasing the coverage both over the shoulder where Senior horses lose muscle and over the wither which over team becomes more prominent due to the back muscles weakening causing sway back problems. Increasing the protection where your senior horse needs it most.
Memory Foam Padding
Memory Foam has been added to the wither, shoulder line and hip panels where you Senior horses often losses mass and the bone structure becomes more prominent. The memory foam acts as an additional layer of protection from rubs and sores as your older horse may lay down more.

The senior blankets and sheets give the much needed padding for our senior horses in all the right places. The memory foam padding protects against rubs giving our horses the much needed protection, comfort and fit that other styles cannot offer. The design is so well executed, we even purchased our AQHA mare (14. 1 h and 1,075lbs) the senior stable blanket even though she is not a senior. This blanket fits her like it has been custom made.
