Key benefits

A Fly Sheet with the BEST UV Protection

This sheet offers your horse the best UV protection. It's constructed with a 300D soft and comfortable polyester mesh material with an 80% UV protection rating. It allows for ample airflow for those horses that live in warm climates and insect protection against small to medium-sized insects, such as gnats and flies. So, if you're looking for a fly sheet to protect your horse from damaging UV rays, this fly sheet is perfect!

All About the Attached Neck Euro Fit

Our Attached Neck Euro fly sheets fit straight from the withers through the back for a comfortable fit for ALL breeds with the innovative SilverTek™ antibacterial nylon lining. The attached neck connects to the sheet with a stretchy lycra that allows your horse to put their head down to graze comfortably. It also prevents the sheet from slipping forward, maintaining coverage no matter the conditions. With the Attached Neck Euro Fit, your horse will be protected from ears to tail.

Fly Material and Fit Guide

An Open Front Design with Front Buckles for Easy On and Off

The open front design features double front buckles with new and improved wider hook and loop closures, allowing you to easily adjust the fly sheet for the perfect amount of “snugness” at the front of the chest. Plus, the buckles make it easy to put on and remove.

SilverTek® Lined Chest, Shoulders, and Tail

A breathable 70D SilverTek® Nylon lining has been included on the front chest, shoulders, and tail flap. This technology has proven antibacterial properties that reduce rubs, odor, and irritations that may cause your horse discomfort during the hot summer months. When it comes into contact with bacteria or other microorganisms, the silver ions are released from the fabric, distributing their cell membranes and interfering with their metabolic processes. As a result, growth is inhibited, reducing the number of bacteria on the fabric’s surface. This keeps your horse healthier and the fabric cleaner, even after extended use and wear.

Better Gusset Design for Additional Freedom

The reinforced gussets extend higher and more forward to allow a greater range of motion when your horse gets up from lying down, walking, or playing in the pasture.

Bellyband Closure for Extra Protection

The bellyband closure option protects from flies and midges biting along the sensitive underbelly. Chrome-plated hardware is positioned to avoid rubbing or poking while your horse is lying down, and the t-post hardware on the bellyband closure includes locking bands and incorporates elastic inserts for more give as the horse moves since the proper fit is with the bellyband snug and flush to the belly.

SilverTek® Lined Extra-Large Tail Cover for Extra Protection

The extra-large tail cover protects from flies attacking the sensitive area underneath the tail. The added SilverTek® nylon lining reduces potential hair breakage, keeping your horse’s tail fuller and looking better!

Reflective Stripes for Added Safety

For extra safety precautions, we’ve added highly visible reflective stripes on the flanks and tail for extra visibility in low light and night turnout.

Leg Straps Included

Set the sheet at the optimum snugness with the included detachable elastic leg straps that help keep the sheet in place. They adjust from 20" to 38" and stretch as the horse moves with double chrome-plated snaps for easy on and off.

Schneider's Soft Interlock Mesh Fly Sheet

"This fly sheet gives good fly protection. I like the belly band and the fact that the sheet has leg straps. The material seems to be somewhat slippery, and although the blanket fits my horse well, it tends to slide back. leaving some tension on the shoulders and front of the chest. It's best to cover the velcro (I use the material swatches that came on the blanket over the velcro straps on the hood) when the blanket is folded up, as the velcro adheres efficiently to the white fabric; pulling the velcro away from the fabric produces a large pilling effect. Otherwise, the sheet has held up well and it washes well. Despite these relatively minor flaws, this is a quality itme So far I have not found a better fly sheet."

Fly sheet

"The sheet itself is great. Fit my mares very pregnant belly and was able to adjust to fit after she had her foal. The fit around the neck wasn’t great. It always seemed so tight no matter how loose or tight I made it."

— Laura (4/5)

It held together very well,

"It held together very well, up til about a month ago when it finally ripped. Loved it, and how well it worked with my mare."

— Cassie (5/5)

Poor fit

"The fly sheet fits well but the piece of velcro which is supposed to loop throught halter for secure fit is too small of a piece and comes off every night. When that happens the neck slides and my horse's entire neck is full of bites. It also becomes very tight on his neck as it slides down. Need a piece of velcro the entire length of fastener piece"

— Donna P. (2/5)

"Really happy with this product. It's light and my horse doesn't get hot. It's so nice for my allergy prone horse."

— Michelle (5/5)

very weak

Great fly sheet

"This is a great fly sheet. True to fit."

— Michelle (5/5)

I WANTED TO LIKE IT, BUT…….

"I really wanted to love this fly sheet - and I do when I first put it on my gelding. Unfortunately, by the time I go out in the evening to take it off, it is so sideways that it is practically dragging on the ground on one side (by his back legs). This makes unhooking the belly band almost impossible and getting it off of him is a nightmare. I tried many different ways to get it to stay mostly straight, but nothing worked. The velcro on the neck cover rips up that part and he rips up the sides within a few weeks just rubbing on the fence. I have quite using it."

— Jeannie S. (2/5)

Great AQHA fit

"This fly sheet fits my stocky 14. 2 QH perfectly. It stays in place, is quite adjustable and comes with leg straps. The belly band is forward enough to prevent it from getting peed on. The fabric is soft and airy. Would highly recommend."

— Courtney B. (5/5)

Great fit. Stays put.
