All About the Euro Fit

Our Euro fly sheets fit straight from the withers through the back that’s designed to drape comfortably and adapts to most breeds and conformations. The sheet comes up 4–6 inches onto the mane, fully covering the shoulders and withers. The Euro fly sheets also have extra comfortable fleece at the withers to prevent rubbing.

An Open Front Design with Front Buckles for Easy On and Off

The open front design features double front buckles with new and improved wider hook and loop closures, allowing you to easily adjust the fly sheet for the perfect amount of “snugness” at the front of the chest. Plus, the buckles make it easy to put on and remove.

SilverTek® Lined Chest, Shoulders, and Tail

A breathable 70D SilverTek® Nylon lining has been included on the front chest, shoulders, and tail flap. This technology has proven antibacterial properties that reduce rubs, odor, and irritations that may cause your horse discomfort during the hot summer months. When it comes into contact with bacteria or other microorganisms, the silver ions are released from the fabric, distributing their cell membranes and interfering with their metabolic processes. As a result, growth is inhibited, reducing the number of bacteria on the fabric’s surface. This keeps your horse healthier and the fabric cleaner, even after extended use and wear.

Better Gusset Design for Additional Freedom

The reinforced gussets extend higher and more forward to allow a greater range of motion when your horse gets up from lying down, walking, or playing in the pasture.

Bellyband Closure for Extra Protection

The bellyband closure option protects from flies and midges biting along the sensitive underbelly. Chrome-plated hardware is positioned to avoid rubbing or poking while your horse is lying down, and the t-post hardware on the bellyband closure includes locking bands and incorporates elastic inserts for more give as the horse moves since the proper fit is with the bellyband snug and flush to the belly.

SilverTek® Lined Extra-Large Tail Cover for Extra Protection

The extra-large tail cover protects from flies attacking the sensitive area underneath the tail. The added SilverTek® nylon lining reduces potential hair breakage, keeping your horse’s tail fuller and looking better!

Reflective Stripes for Added Safety

For extra safety precautions, we’ve added highly visible reflective stripes on the flanks and tail for extra visibility in low light and night turnout.

Leg Straps Included

Set the sheet at the optimum snugness with the included detachable elastic leg straps that help keep the sheet in place. They adjust from 20" to 38" and stretch as the horse moves with double chrome-plated snaps for easy on and off.

"This is the first fly sheet I've ever bought. This sheet is a lot heavier than I thought it would be but tha tworks because it stays in place. I thought it would be hard to put on, do the straps and take off but it wasn't. My horses of which only one has ever worn anything like it were just fine. I mean, I had no idea but it worked. I don't do the under tail strap because because I don't leave it on them all day, its for when we go for our walks and then don't have the other horses to help keep the flies off, but it does cut down on how much bug spray I need. Perhaps it would be a good idea to buy two more?"

Doc’s new sheet

"I love the mosquito mesh sheet! Flies, not mosquitoes , are my biggest concern and this sheet covers him and the problem perfectly. Doc recently got bitten in the face by a rattlesnake and spent 5 days in the hospital getting anti venom and recovering. Odd fit

"I kinda went back and forth on this fly sheet for rating. I really wanted to like the high gussets and the high neck, but the fit just wasn’t there. On all my horses the high neck slid back and got stuck behind the withers and the front got tight and started rubbing the chest. I had bought a few of these in different sizes so I tried the different sizes and they all did that on all my horses. So I ended up giving these away. The material and workmanship was really good though."

Great insect sheet

"In the southwest it gets a little warm. Ou horse is sensitive to insects that cause him to have hivs. We have tried 3-4 different Schneider fly sheets and they are all good. This model has the best coverage and is the coolest. Only downside is side is the Velcro stick to everything."

Slips easily and snags

"This is a great sheet! The durability is on point for a soft mesh fly sheet and I love the quality! Super nice but the next day, the fabric snagged on the Velcro and it got all messed up. The sheet also slips easily even when i adjust it to how it fits my horse. I wish it didn’t snag the fabric though."

"My leopard POA has extremely sensitive skin and sunburns very easily all over her body. We used to leave her inside during the day. But now she can go out all the time. She doesn't get sweaty and the sun is blocked. The material is very lightweight, durable and breathable. Just bought our second one. The first one lasted six years of constant use with only one repaired tear. Love Schneider's Tack and all their products."

"This is a good quality fly sheet but runs a little large. Personally, I wish I would’ve ordered a size down for my petite Arabian. I had to make some adjustments so it would sit up higher on her chest and shoulders. Overall would recommend but probably will get a more adjustable next time I need a fly sheet."
