"I bought this mask in the cob size for my grade 8 year old mare, who is mostly TB. She is fine boned, has a small head but TB ears, so it was fingers crossed that the mask would fit and her ears would not be crowded into it. It fit wonderfully with room to spare! The elastic on the velcro closures is a great touch so I don't worry about her getting hung up anyway if she scratches and the elastic around the lower face does the job of contouring the mask to her face. She needed the UV protection so I was thrilled to be able to not only achieve that in her size but to get such a fun mask was the icing on the cake. Her paddock mates had to make sure it was her, lol, and everyone that sees her in it comments on how cute it is. "Good quality mask. Runs larger than I expected. Full size is a little big on my 16 hand horse who has a head like a thoroughbred. Hard to get a completely snug fit where the flies can’t get in at the nose end. The pirate design is a hoot though and I got it for $20 so a good deal!"
