They did their job. Durability
"They did their job. Durability was great and horses really appreciated them. Really helped my 25 yr old gelding. They are easy to wash and continue to look great after washing. I was very pleased with this purchase."

A horse that stomps at flies all day is hard on its own hooves and joints. Mosquito Mesh® II boots stop the biting with 350-denier window-screen mesh fine enough for gnats and no-see-ums, and they do it without wrapping the leg: the boot touches only at its rubber-bound, fleece-lined top and bottom and stands off the cannon on flexible stays, so air moves through in the heat. One full-length hook-and-loop strip closes each boot. A full-length reflective strip shows up at dusk and a 40% UV rating shades pale legs at noon. Set of four in Blue or Gray. Fasten the closures, wash cold, line dry.

The same great boot, but now with a full-length reflective strip, this non-fitted fly boot is perfect for horses that need the best insect protection for their legs The 350D extra-fine window screen mesh and rubber binding on the top and bottom of the boot protect your horse’s legs from flies, mosquitos, and even the tiniest bugs, like no-see-ums or gnats - reducing stomping. These fly boots shield your horse from potential sun damage with 40% UV protection, while the non-fitted style allows for exceptional airflow during the hot summer months.

"These fly boots are fantastic. The velcro held tight the ENTIRE fly season! They didn't rub or chafe my horse and provided EXCELLENT protection from the annoying flies!! I would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone looking to purchase fly boots. And IF I needed to, I would buy them again!"
"Something has changed from previous years these didn't make it the whole year I have been buying them every year and a half for the last 5 years. So kind of disappointing."
"Overall I like these fly boots. They are light weight and easy to clean. The Velcro is super strong so they stay on. It would be nice if they had ones for the hinds be a little longer. My horse has DSLD so the ones on his hinds are bent because his leg shape is a little drooped. But they work well even so, just would like the hinds to be longer to accommodate. My friend said theirs have last multiple seasons on their horses. If that works out for me too, then they are well worth the cost."
"I leave them on during night turnout, washed them weekly and they are a good for next season!"
"I’ve had other fly boots which my horses really appreciate but I find them hard to take off becuase of the 3 or 4 velcro strips that have to be undone. These fly boots are so easy to use. The velcro closures are easy to close and easy to open and the boots don’t rub on the horses and don’t slip down. So glad I found these!"
"Mine have hardly lasted May-Oct so I would say not especially durable."
"Love that these are super lightweight, seem to be maintaining their integrity and don't fall down or have to be fastened so tightly like the fitted fly boots used to be. These are really great. I never liked using fly boots because I worried about putting them on too tightly. These stay up and have reduced stomping considerably! Sorry they are currently sold out, but when they come back in stock, grab them. You won't be disappointed."
"After using a couple other styles, this one is the most comfortable and works the best. There isn’t any fake fleece to hold onto burrs. It stays up and on. I will order these fly boots again."
"These are hands-down, the best fly boots around! They hold up adorable and don’t fall off and get lost in the field. Worth the extra money 100%!"
