Contour Collar Euro Fit Guide Designed with a Contour Collar Euro fit, this blanket accommodates both sloped and upright shoulder conformations and is well suited for horses with a low to flat shorter wither, balanced muscle tone, and smoother, flatter topline appearance. Measure chest to tail, along the side of the body across the widest part of the shoulder and hindquarters. If you land between sizes, size up — a snug fit causes pinching and rubs. It's made for horses that enjoy making the most of every snowy day.
Waterproofing That Wows
Wet winter weather is no problem thanks to reliable waterproof construction designed to keep moisture out. A seamless back eliminates one of the most common areas for leaks, helping your horse stay dry during rain, sleet, and snowfall while maintaining warmth and comfort.

Busy barn routines become easier with the convenient open-front design. Adjustable front snap closures make blanketing quick and simple while providing a secure fit that stays comfortably in place throughout the day.
Shoulder Room That Moves With Them
Extended forward-positioned shoulder gussets give your horse the freedom to move naturally while grazing, walking, and playing. This thoughtful design also helps reduce rubbing across the shoulders for greater comfort during extended wear.
Snug and Secure Surcingle Closure
The adjustable criss-cross surcingle system helps keep the blanket properly positioned, even during active turnout. It provides dependable stability while allowing enough flexibility for comfortable, unrestricted movement.
Tail-End Coverage You Can Count On
A generously sized tail cover adds an extra layer of protection where it's needed most. It helps shield the hindquarters from wind, rain, snow, and mud while keeping your horse cleaner and more comfortable throughout the day.

Reflective trim enhances visibility during low-light conditions, making your horse easier to spot during early morning turnout, evening chores, or nighttime barn checks. It's a simple feature that adds extra peace of mind.

Included detachable elastic leg straps provide a secure, adjustable fit that helps keep the blanket properly positioned without restricting movement. Double-locking adjustment allows straps to fit from 20 to 38 inches on sizes 68–78 and up to 44 inches on sizes 80–84, while double snap attachments make removal and reattachment quick and convenient.

How to Measure a Horse for a Blanket
The most accurate and easiest way to determine your horse’s blanket size is to measure along the side of their body, from chest to tail. First, stand the horse square on a flat surface. Measure from the center of the chest, straight back to the very edge of the tail. Make sure to measure along the widest part of their shoulder and hindquarters. The number of inches measured in this way is your horse’s size. Look on the size chart for any Schneiders blanket for this number of inches to order your horse’s perfect size.
