How to Measure a Horse for a Blanket
The most accurate and easiest way to determine your horse’s blanket size is to measure along the side of their body, from chest to tail. First, stand the horse square on a flat surface. Measure from the center of the chest, straight back to the very edge of the tail. Make sure to measure along the widest part of their shoulder and hindquarters. The number of inches measured in this way is your horse’s size. Look on the size chart for any Schneiders blanket for this number of inches to order your horse’s perfect size.

Runs very large!!
"This sheet is quite oversized, runs about 6” to big when I ordered same size winter blanket. I returned it for an exchange, however after almost 4 weeks after they received it, no message no replacement sheet. When I called turns out the sheet had been on back order for about 2 weeks. After all this I asked for a refund. I was never notified of it being on back order, and would have easily accepted another color. My horse has been wearing his old sheet that doesn’t stay on him very well… but at this point will do for this season. Maybe next year??"

"We live in Missouri with hot, humid summers. These fly sheets do no creating any sweat. The protection from the flies is great. One horse has extremely sensitive skin. They have also held up for two summers so far without any issues!"

"I’ve had this for 2 seasons now and it’s held up well, the belly straps broke off when my mare got caught up in it but it is easily fixable and I would way rather it break than her break. Keeps my mare from breaking out in hives due to bugs and doesn’t make her too warm when she’s living outside 24/7."

"These work really well in the Texas heat. They wear really well and do seem to have pretty good air flow. My only complaint is that they do seem to run rather large. My guy normally fits an 81 perfectly but in this style it is too big."
