Metalab® F.G. Short Shank Correction Bit
This Francois Gauthier bit is an ideal bit for horses that need palate contact but do not need a longer shank for enhanced signaling.
- Short swept back cheeks decrease signal response time from your hand to your horse’s mouth
- Gives your horse more of a signal that a command is coming
- This bit will apply direct palate pressure and encourage horses to break at the poll
- Intermediate or transitional bit for horses that are ready to move up to a shank or correction mouth
- Sweet iron mouth and copper bars promote salivation and sensitivity within the mouth
- Mouthpiece will rust which is sweet to the horse’s taste and promotes a soft mouth
- Applies palate pressure and tongue pressure at each joint
