Great bag but straps are wearing out

"I really love this bag - it attaches securely, holds my phone, a small towel, and a hoof pick, and stays out of the way. However, the straps are tearing after 5 months of use. It stays on one saddle, so it doesn't get tossed around or clipped and unclipped, things that might wear it down. The bag itself is in perfect shape, but the straps are fraying and splitting, and it's not much use if it won't remain attached to my saddle, and I definitely don't need it failing on a trail and flinging my phone off into the woods."
