"This is one of the easiest and best products for horses that tend to knot their manes and tails up with one toss of the head. It's great for keeping manes and tails easier to mange on horses that are turned out. Grass, twigs and hay are much easier to brush out and the conditioner seems to help for about 2 weeks. I don't suggest using it if you want to braid the mane or tail neatly for showing, as the hairs will be too slick to hold well. Also, don't use under the saddle or if you want to ride bareback. I don't mind it for braiding to put tails up as the braid comes out easily for rebraiding and I use Guard-Tex. I use it on my knee-length hair, too."
