Robart™ Pinchless Jointed Long Shank Medium Port Bit

Overview

Robart™ Pinchless Jointed Long Shank Medium Port Bit
Revolutionary internal bushing design eliminates pinching of tongue or cheeks. Mouth stays closed and calm, tension and stress are greatly reduced. The horse can concentrate on learning and performing. Either half of the bit can rotate independently, allowing each side of the horse to be worked separately, as in lifting a shoulder or flexing exercises.
  • Great bit for reining horses and working cow horses
  • Low port is jointed and each side can be worked individually
  • Revolutionary design eliminates pinching the tongue and the cheeks
  • Stainless steel cheeks and mouthpiece with coppery inlay
  • Copper promotes salivation and increases sensitivity in the mouth
  • Pinchless cheeks for maximum comfort
  • Mouthpiece: 5”
  • Cheeks: 7 1/2”
  • Port: 1 ½”
  • Bit diameter: 3/8”

"I love this but! It gives me enough control without being harsh. My horse enjoys the copper inlay that promotes salivation."

"I love the bit. My young horse responses very well to it."

Holly (5/5)

Best bit for a well trained horse and rider

"I love this bit, my spicy arabian loves this bit, every horse I use it on loves this bit. If you do not have a well trained horse that can ride one handed, this bit might not be for you. This is meant for well trained horses and riders with soft hands. Very little movement is need to get a 'whoa'."

Summer (5/5)

Yes. This is a second one for his other tack set

"This bit works perfect for my horse. He needs long shanks being a younger horse and in training still. Just aggressive enough to get his attention yet still comfortable."

Diane (5/5)

Runs narrow

"Love this bit but ordered 5 3/4 from manufacturer. My horse fits fine in every 5"" mouth. This bit was narrow on the shank where the bridle attaches. I am referring to 5"" mouth. So I suggest you order 5 3/4 which sstack does not carry. Fit was so tight I did not use. The 5 3/4 fits like a 5"" where the bridle hooks to the bit. I have a AQHA with blocky face. A narrow faces horse would probably be okay but not a block head. Myler bit same size and concept fits fine with 5""."

Lisa (5/5)

Great bit

"Great bit for new horse. Relaxed and happy with it."

Apha M. (4/5)

my horse loves this bit and I love the mobility of it

"Well I cannot use it in reined cowhorse I can use it for training and and Ranch versatility and my horse is very picky about his bits but seems to like this one"

Trainer Recommended

"My world championship trainer/mentor suggested this for me as I demonstrated gentle hands on the reins. My horse seems to appreciate it, it has copper in it and all seem great."
