How to Measure a Horse for a Blanket
The most accurate and easiest way to determine your horse’s blanket size is to measure along the side of their body, from chest to tail. First, stand the horse square on a flat surface. Measure from the center of the chest, straight back to the very edge of the tail. Make sure to measure along the widest part of their shoulder and hindquarters. The number of inches measured in this way is your horse’s size. Look on the size chart for any Schneiders blanket for this number of inches to order your horse’s perfect size.

"I have 2 active Arabians, and have 4 of these turnouts in different insulation weights. Both bellyband and surcingle styles fit great. These turnout blankets not only fit superbly (ability to adjust at the shoulder/neck is perfect), they also last a LONG time. I am still using one that I've had for over 16 winters- ( I use the older one on dry days and the new one when rain/snow is possible )"

It has also been very waterproof even after a terrible all day downpour. The wither relief has been great for my mare as well.
