Our Cutback Wither fly sheets cut away at the withers to provide a rub-free fit for horses with high-head carriage and a lower wither. The larger neck opening and sloped net line cut back for the withers make this the perfect design for Arabians, Fresians, Saddlebreds, and Tennessee Walkers.

The open front option features double front snaps with new and improved wider hook and loop closures, allowing you to easily adjust the fly sheet for the perfect amount of “snugness” at the front of the chest. Plus, the snaps make it easy to put on and remove.

The criss-cross surcingle closure option adjusts to keep the fly sheet from sliding side to side. Brass-plated hardware comes with locking bands and detachable elastic leg straps for increased security.

"This flysheet is strong but light; and the features really help fit my Paso Fino. No other brand has worked as well as this one! And if there’s any issue, this company stands behind their product."
"I should have read all the negative reviews. Seems like they are aware of the belly band issue. I have no problems with the fit of other blankets in her usual size but this one doesn’t let me close the belly band even fully extended. My horse is not overweight. Company won’t let me return it because I wrote on the tag, even though the blanket is unused and clean. Very disappointing."
"I am satisfied with my mesh blanket. I have ordered them before, they seem to make my horse a little cooler. My horse destroyed it within two days and she is in a pasture by her self, but I had it replaced and I was really satisfied, even with the new color. It is good quality."
"Finding a good fit for my 15. 1 hand Oldenburg mare who's built a bit like a Quarter horse is challenging. Blankets and sheets tend to ride back and pull hard across her chest. Her previous Weatherbeeta sheet fit well otherwise but was super tight right where her neck met her shoulder and it put a lot of pressure there. That can't be comfortable or healthy! Two things that could be improved: The velcro at the front of the chest is a little small or wimpy. Sometimes when the staff at the boarding barn put it on and don't line it up very carefully, it comes undone right away. Second, the tail cover sticks straight out the back so it's a little hard to know if it's providing much protection. It's just a bit awkward. Final note: there are a lot of metal rings on this setup that jingle when she walks. Not necessarily a problem but just something to know."
"The Mosquito Mesh II Fly Sheet is the best fly sheet on the market. It is lightweight, very durable, and gives great protection from insects. We tried many different brands of fly sheets and hands down this is my favorite."
"I have a gelding very sensitive to bugs, especially mosquitoes. And unfortunately due to circumstances out of my control, we’re going to be moving from the best, lovely dry climate to a swampy mess of humidity and bugs. So I wanted to find him something before we get there. I love the fit, true to size, and it’s the first fly sheet that I’ve seen that I feel confident he’s not going to overheat in. On top of the fit, fabric, and construction I think it looks pretty nice too. Only thing I find odd is the tail cover. It’s huge. And it poofs out so far in the back that it just seems like a waste of time ; bugs can easily still be up in his tail. Maybe a little less fabric is needed for that… idk?? Looks like he’s got an awning off the back of his butt. Not sure what the design was supposed to do but besides that the sheet is great."
"Finally, an effective fly sheet that is light-weight. Great fit, true to size. The adjustable front buckles easily accomodate any type of neck-sternum thickness."
"Love them ! I have two of them ! If I could afford three more for the rest of my herd o will get same kind!"
"Love this sheet and the fit is amazing! Great for keeping out even the midgets and the mosquitos and light fabric moves to allow air flow."
"I called Schneiders to discuss if they made a fly sheet to fit a Connemara that was built like the older lines of quarter horses. In essence a stocky horse. So I purchased the sheet and hood last summer and the velcro will not stay together and the sheet slides back and velcro comes apart on top of putting pressure on his shoulders when moving and grazing. In addition when it comes apart the rough part of the velcro rubs my horse’s shoulder. So I tried using the 1st D ring but it was not an option as the sheet would remain open under neck if it was used. The sheet is very sturdy but doesn’t fit a stocky horse unless he’s a statute that never moves. Also the velcro on the hood will not stay closed either when hooked to a halter or not. If I buy a larger size I feel it would just slide back and again be in the same situation. Disappointed for sure as I have always liked Schneider’s products."
