Extremely effective with a minor sizing issue
"My 3 year old dog already has some spinal disc issues from really hard rough play with another of our young dogs. (We nicknamed them Crash and Burn during that phase) He required a couple of months of meds and restricted activity to manage his resulting pain last year. Since then he hasn't shown his discomfort until he settles down at night and then really doesn't like to be disturbed when lying down. To relieve this condition I initially bought him a more generic puffy type jacket to keep him warmer and more comfortable at night which he did like. However he now prefers his new black LUX jacket with all of the added therapeutic benefits. He becomes excited and runs to get it put on when shown it and asked if he wants it on. Now when he heads to bed at night he is able to really relax without discomfort or pain. He is no longer irritable at night when lying down. He falls into a very sound deep sleep which he never done since his initial injuries. Also the material durability is holding up to play time so far. It will be repairable in the future so a good investment for the money. The only reason I deducted a star was because the neck is too large and would benefit from the adjustafit option like on the horse blanket. Shape/sizing 4, Effectiveness high 5!!"

"My 80 lb Great Pyrenees puppy had surgery that required shaving her back, which is less than ideal in December in Chicago. This coat was a lifesaver. Loose enough not to bother her incision, but snug enough to stay on. Easy to put on, and allows freedom of movement. And, bonus, she looks adorable!"

Waited a long time, but worth it.
"My dog measured for the XXL according to the chart and it was back ordered for almost two months. When I finally was able to order it, I was really excited! However, when I got it was too big and I had to send it back for the next size down! I highly suggest contacting Schneider's about sizing before ordering! I have a 12 year old lab mix who really benefited from the BoT sheet, but it did not fit him well so he didn't like to wear it. I was happy to see that Schneider had a similar blanket, but cut differently. This blanket fit his shoulders perfectly, much better than the BoT sheet did and he doesn't run away when I get it out. He wears it at night (like is BoT sheet) and sleeps so much better, no more getting up and readjusting himself in his bed all night. He also gets it on as soon as he comes home from the barn to help warm those cold joints up and he eases out of that stiffness very quickly. Would highly recommend this sheet for older dogs with arthritis or just general stiffness. I would suggest though that they add leg straps! Blanket does not stay on straight with a long backed wiggly dog. I just added some myself and it fixed the problem."

"Very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this blanket! I bought the XS for a toy Australian Shepherd and the fit quality is spot on! Cut just like a horse blanket with the attention to detail and fit just like the larger versions. It's lightweight and sturdy, can't wait to see it work!"
