"I bought my first Ovation girth (same style as the one I just purchased last month) about 7 years ago. One doesn't expect something that gets used 4-5 times a week to last that long and still look show-worthy, but this girth does! As shown, the horse is protected from any pressure of the buckles. The contour is perfect and seems comfortable to my horse (16h, approx 1100 lbs - dressage). I cover mine with a Christ sheepskin girth cover but that is just a matter of personal choice. The girth is lightweight and easy to keep clean. The fact that I searched for and was able to get the same product (make, style, and size) illustrates how comfortable I was in getting the same thing again."

"I originally purchased this girth for my thin-skinned grey thoroughbred mare. I’d been battling girth sores for months and had tried several different shapes and sizes. This girth did the trick. It’s reasonably priced and so easy to clean. I just run the hose over it after each ride. This is the second one I’ve bought. The original started cracking after 3 years, being used nearly every day. But, replacing it doesn’t hurt the bottom line much at all."
