LOVE THE FIT AND COMFORT !!!!!

"I love the way the mesh covers the entire face and not just the eyes, It keeps the material from coming down over the eyes and being uncomfortable for my mini. The zipper can be a little difficult when the mini is being difficult however, it's pretty sturdy and hasn't broken after 2 years. I purchased the medium size and might have been able to go up a size. I don't have a registered mini but can tell you he wears a size 48 sheet/blanket if that helps others with sizing their mini? Over all I love this and think it fits well on my mini who rubs on everything! I want to find these for my big horses!"

BAD Size Chart

"I ordered 2 masks per the size chart: "Medium (Small size mini-class A) Large (Large size mini-class B)" I have 2 Minis, one 30" (Class A) and one 36" (Class B) Both masks are TOO BIG! Whoever wrote up the specs needs to measure an actual Miniature Horse."

"This is the BEST EVER MINI FLY MASK EVER!!!!! Clean, easy to put on and the horses have no problem seeing out of them. They don’t mind wearing them, the other kind they were always tearing them off! I’m very impressed with them, that’s why I got three of them for all three horses! I also had given Amazon my first review on the first one I bought."

My favorite fly masks!

"I have used these fly masks for years for my six miniature horses and my one full-size horse. They are the best! The mesh is fine and there is ample space for the horse's eyelashes and brows so they don't get smashed. The Lycra material keeps out the small flies and gnats. Most of my horses have thick forelocks and at first this was an issue because there is no opening for the forelock. However, since the fabric is Lycra and does not fray, I was able to use my scissors to cut a v-shaped opening for the forelock. I was able to customize the size of the opening based on the thickness of each horse's forelock. I don't use the zipper and am able to just pull the mask on all my horses--so much easier! I think the zipper could be replaced with a strong elastic gusset (like those on the back of riding boots) and would probably save on labor and materials."

Miniature Fly Masks are GREAT!

"I purchased two average size mini masks with ears and two of the mini weanling masks with ears. The first two fit my little mares perfectly, and the mini weanling size fits my 4 month old mini colt perfectly. It's a little big at this point for my 2 month old colt, but he'll grow into it soon enough. Some indicate they have problems with the zippers, but all of mine, including the foals, stand nicely while' I'm simply feeling under their chins to slide the zipper together and zip it up. They've yet to be able to rub them off and hopefully they'll never learn to do so. If only they had a donkey mask with ears like these - our boy really needs one!"
