Soft, opaque interlock mesh blocks more than 80% of UV, so a pale or clipped horse can stand out in the sun, and the attached neck on a stretch seam carries that shade from ears to tail. Nylon-lined shoulders, SilverTek® antibacterial lining and reflective strips.

The soft, opaque polyester interlock mesh blocks more than 80% of harmful UV, so a pale or clipped horse can stand out in the sun without the coat bleaching or the skin burning. Best rating for small to medium insects such as gnats and flies.

The neck cover is sewn on, with a stretch seam at the junction so it moves as your horse grazes and drinks, and there's no gap at the wither for insects to get in. It doesn't detach.

An Open Front Design with Front Buckles for Easy On and Off

The open front design features double front buckles with new and improved wider hook and loop closures, allowing you to easily adjust the fly sheet for the perfect amount of “snugness” at the front of the chest. Plus, the buckles make it easy to put on and remove.

SilverTek® Lined Chest, Shoulders, and Tail

A breathable 70D SilverTek® Nylon lining has been included on the front chest, shoulders, and tail flap. This technology has proven antibacterial properties that reduce rubs, odor, and irritations that may cause your horse discomfort during the hot summer months. When it comes into contact with bacteria or other microorganisms, the silver ions are released from the fabric, distributing their cell membranes and interfering with their metabolic processes. Good quality, runs big, wish the front was more secure

"This sheet is good quality. The belly band does hold it very well on my 17.1 Warmblood. Her blankets are 78-81”, but I got this in a 78” for her, and it’s still a little too big. When I get her from the pasture, the front chest material has usually slipped and it’s just the chest strap rubbing against her skin. I’m not sure if one size down would solve the problem. Also, the Velcro neck straps snag the sheet material every time you take it off so you have to be very careful. Those things aside, it stays on her, and it hasn’t been destroyed yet. I like that it’s very light compared to some other sheets which we desperately need in the FL heat."

"This fly sheet gives good fly protection. I like the belly band and the fact that the sheet has leg straps. The material seems to be somewhat slippery, and although the blanket fits my horse well, it tends to slide back. leaving some tension on the shoulders and front of the chest. It's best to cover the velcro (I use the material swatches that came on the blanket over the velcro straps on the hood) when the blanket is folded up, as the velcro adheres efficiently to the white fabric; pulling the velcro away from the fabric produces a large pilling effect. Otherwise, the sheet has held up well and it washes well. Despite these relatively minor flaws, this is a quality itme So far I have not found a better fly sheet."

"The fly sheet fits well but the piece of velcro which is supposed to loop throught halter for secure fit is too small of a piece and comes off every night. When that happens the neck slides and my horse's entire neck is full of bites. It also becomes very tight on his neck as it slides down. Need a piece of velcro the entire length of fastener piece"

I WANTED TO LIKE IT, BUT…….

"I really wanted to love this fly sheet - and I do when I first put it on my gelding. Unfortunately, by the time I go out in the evening to take it off, it is so sideways that it is practically dragging on the ground on one side (by his back legs). This makes unhooking the belly band almost impossible and getting it off of him is a nightmare. I tried many different ways to get it to stay mostly straight, but nothing worked. The velcro on the neck cover rips up that part and he rips up the sides within a few weeks just rubbing on the fence. I have quite using it."
