Euro Fit Guide Designed with a Euro fit, this blanket accommodates both sloped and upright shoulder conformations and is well suited for horses with a low to flat shorter wither, balanced muscle tone, and smoother, flatter topline appearance. Measure chest to tail, along the side of the body across the widest part of the shoulder and hindquarters. If you land between sizes, size up — a snug fit causes pinching and rubs. How to Measure a Horse for a Blanket
The most accurate and easiest way to determine your horse’s blanket size is to measure along the side of their body, from chest to tail. First, stand the horse square on a flat surface. Measure from the center of the chest, straight back to the very edge of the tail. Make sure to measure along the widest part of their shoulder and hindquarters. The number of inches measured in this way is your horse’s size. Look on the size chart for any Schneiders blanket for this number of inches to order your horse’s perfect size.

"These blankets were such a steal for $60-$70 each. For that price, they are great quality and have all the basics a turnout needs to be functional. My three horses don't have shelter so they needed something that would keep them warm during any snow storms. The blankets fit great and keep the horses warm and dry. It has been years since I purchased from Schneiders and I really like the fact that the sizes are now on a rubber type tab on the front. No more fading and wondering what sizes the blankets are. The blankets have plenty of length on the sides and the tail flap is just added protection. Highly recommend!"

"Economical choice if you need a basic sturdy turnout blanket! I've got both the 0g and the 100g and they are a good fit for the average build horse, have not leaked or had any issues at all with them so far through a few seasons. The 100g is a really versatile weight for the cooler and wetter days especially for horses that have a decent winter coat. The shipping was timely, and you can't go wrong with the basic black and grey color scheme!"
