Schneiders® Offset D Ring Twisted Sweet Iron Snaffle Bit
Recommened for horses that are heavy on the hands in a snaffle but not ready to move up to a curb bit. This is also a great training bit for everyday use. Snaffles apply direct pressure meaning the amount of pressure you apply to the bit is the amount of pressure the horse will feel. Pressure is applied directly to the tongue and jaw when both reins are pulled or on the side of the face when using one rein at a time. Snaffles apply and release pressure much faster than a curb bit but does not apply as much total pressure making snaffles a wonderful training bit.

"Awful shipping, over a month after i ordered it they emailed saying they forgot about it, and they would ship right away. . 13 days later i got shipment notification, and then it came in right around the 2 month mark. Was told i would receive shipping costs back but was never refunded."

"My horse sometimes chews on her bit if she gets anxious and this one holds up well. She had chewed a flat spot in copper twisted bit. This is my second purchase of this bit. I will use this one on a second bridle with mecate reins."
I Absolutely love this bit
"I love this bit, though the cheekpieces are a bit large on my horse, it fits him comfortably and he likes it a lot better for training. Currently, we are working in it to get softer and more responsive, then downgrading back to a smooth d-ring snaffle that my best friend's mother made for us. Overall one of the best training bits I've used, it does not slide around in the mouth and the twisted part is thick enough it won't create too much discomfort, but also will put enough pressure to get quick responses. I love it!"
