Schneiders® Twisted Wire Kimberwick

Overview

Schneiders® Twisted Wire Kimberwick
Light enough to ride everyday yet allows you to school your horse when needed. This bit functions as both a direct action and leverage bit using a curb strap or chain.
  • A nice bit that adds leverage and sends a stronger signal to the horse
  • Applies more pressure directly to the tongue, bars and corners of the mouth
  • Reins slots offer separate leverage options to achieve desired results
  • Top slot offers direct action and lower puts pressure on the mouth, curb and poll
  • Stainless steel twisted wire jointed mouthpiece and stainless cheeks
  • Curb hooks and chain are included
  • Mouth: 5”
  • Bit diameter: 10mm

Twisted Wire Kimberwick

"Absolutely love this bit. Have a very headstrong horse who would pull on my back when I would try to get him into a headset. This bit eliminates the constant back and forth. It conforms to his mouth without pinching. Very satisfied with the Kinberwick."

Perfect step up bit

"A great bit to transition into from a simple D ring. It was just what I needed for a little more control. It seems that a lot of times the chain is sold separate, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was included in this bit purchase."

"Great quality! Haven't been able to try it much as our horse is dealing with Tmj issues but I'm happy with price and quality"

Amber (5/5)

Great bit for my gelding!

"My hunt seat gelding is now five years old and I've been trying different bits on him to see which he prefers. This bit by far is his favorite. He can be a bit heavy in a regular snaffle but found that other bits with curbs were too much for him. He is super light in this bit but it's not harsh on him at all."
