Reviews

Quiet ride

"This is my second one. Easy to use with bridle, comfortable for my mare & stops her constant head tossing from bugs, especially early in season. She is bad even with fly spray but mask works. We are both much happier on our trail rides."

Fly mask

"Works great for a horse that doesn't like bugs in his face. Makes for a relaxing time in the pasture or riding around."

Stacy F. (5/5)

Quiet ride mask

"The extension over the nose keeps him from flipping his head head over the flies and gnats"

BRYAN E. (5/5)

Quiet Tide

"Love these Quiet Ride Fly Masks. Stocking up for the spring and summer!"

Suzanne D. (5/5)

Fly-free riding!

"This is the second Cashel Quiet Ride Fly Mask I’ve bought. My new mare simply HATES flies on her face and this mask, with its extended nose and good fitting ears, makes trail riding in the summer much more fun!"

Barbara H. (5/5)

Essential for my head shaker

"Between my gelding being a head shaker and me living in horse and deer fly central there is no way I'll go to ride outside without this mask!"

DOROTHEE G. (5/5)

Best daily wear mask

"We have purchased at least 10 over the years, as they are effective and comfortable for our two quarter horses"

Great masks year after year!

"Highly recommend these masks! They hold up for one or more seasons. They WOULD NOT stand up to "halter tag", but my group does not play around with each other. My herd of 4 wear them daily for 12 hours of turnout (both dry lot and grass pasture) all summer. I really like being able to see my horses' eyes, which most masks do not allow and it's the reason why I started using these about 5-6 years ago. The draft size is really huge and does not fit my rather large headed 16hh Percheron-cross so she wears the horse size. My 15. 2hh Morgan/QH wears the horse size as well. Our 13. 1 Quarter pony and 14. 3 Paso wear the small horse/arabian size. I found the pony size too small for them. The pony is a head-flipper due to flies and the long nose piece completely alleviates this issue. Yes, sometimes they rub them off while rolling around, but the masks take the "abuse". Only complaint: I wish they had an area where I can label each horses' mask with their name!"

Rubs eyes

"My mare loves her fly protection clothing but she hates this mask. The darts over the eyes are not long enough or strong enough to keep the fabric from touching her eyelashes. She pulls it off within a minute of me putting it on her."

Buy this if bugs are an issue when working

"Great for trail rides or outdoor work. Effective at keeping you top of your horse's mind, not the bugs. Mask is cool and comfortable and does not interfere with tack."
