Does My Horse Need To Wear a Fly Sheet and Neck Cover?

It depends on how often your horse is exposed to biting insects or UV rays. If they spend time turned out, even only at night, your horses will most likely deal with flies, no-see-ums, mosquitos, and horse flies during warmer months. The use of a fly sheet or neck cover is ideal to comfort your horse in these situations, so outfit them in a fly sheet and neck cover for protection against pesky biting insects as well as damage from the sun's UV rays.
