The Ultimate Cooling Fly Sheet for Hot Weather Comfort

Keep your oversized or draft horse cool and protected from flies with advanced technical material that actually cools your horse. We blended our soft, opaque 300D polyester mesh with a combination of 45% polyester cooling yarn and 55% nylon cooling yarn to create a material that cools and inhibits sweating. The fly sheet cools off as your horse heats up, keeping your horse as comfortable as possible. Available in our traditional Euro that fits comfortably for all breeds! It protects your horse from small to medium-sized bugs, such as gnats and flies, and offers exceptional 80% UV protection, with a fleece comfort strip at the wither and higher gussets for better mobility. With new reflective stripes for safety and added SilverTek® technology, you’ll love all the benefits this unique fly sheet offers.

Cooling Material + SilverTek® Technology

The fly sheet’s 300D interlock polyester mesh is blended with 45% polyester and 55% nylon cooling yarns, creating a material that actively cools your horse as they heat up. This sweat-wicking, hygroscopic fabric keeps your horse comfortable and dry, even in direct sunlight. Ideal for horses in warm or moderate climates, it also protects against small to medium-biting insects like gnats and flies. A breathable 70D SilverTek® Nylon lining has been included on the front chest, shoulders, and tail flap. This technology has proven antibacterial properties that reduce rubs, odor, and irritations. When it comes into contact with bacteria or other microorganisms, the silver ions are released from the fabric, distributing their cell membranes and interfering with their metabolic processes. As a result, growth is inhibited, reducing the number of bacteria on the fabric’s surface. This keeps your horse healthier and the fabric cleaner, even after extended use and wear.

Designed to Fit All Breeds Comfortably

This sheet is specifically designed for a comfortable fit on oversized and draft horses. The reinforced gussets are positioned for optimal freedom of movement, allowing your horse to graze, roll, or run easily. Plus, the large tail cover provides extra protection your horse might need. Our Euro fly sheets fit straight from the withers through the back that's designed to drape comfortably and adapts to most breeds and conformations. The sheet comes up 4-6 inches onto the mane, fully covering the shoulders and withers. The Euro fly sheets also have extra comfortable fleece at the withers to prevent rubbing.

Thoughtful Design and Secure Closures

This fly sheet is built with thoughtful features to make your oversize horse more comfortable and your life easier. All bindings are wider than our horse-sized cooling fly sheet, providing added strength and longevity to best support your oversized horse. The open front design features double front buckles with new and improved wider hook and loop closures, allowing you to easily adjust the fly sheet for the perfect amount of "snugness" at the front of the chest. The criss-cross surcingle closure with chrome-plated hardware option adjusts to keep the fly sheet from sliding side to side. Comes with detachable elastic leg straps for increased security. The elastic leg straps adjust up to 48” and keep the sheet in place while accommodating natural movement.

For extra safety precautions, we’ve added highly visible reflective stripes on the flanks and tail for extra visibility in low light and night turnout.

Good but not Great

"This fly sheet is GREAT for hot summer days and sweaty horses! HOWEVER the material that this is made out of easily catches and rips on the velcro so they don’t last very long before a hole appears… I also found that this blanket fit smaller than normal. My horse wears a 80 or 81 in all of his clothes however I wish I would’ve sized up in this fly sheet as it was super tight around the neck and short on the body. I would suggest this product but warn of the above two things!"

Terrible product

"This sheet has multiple Velcro features that constantly snag the sheet material. This makes the sheet very hard to work with and leaves the sheet with multiple areas where the fabric has been snagged and pulled. I’ve reported this to the company and got back from them a list of things I need to do to be reviewed by the”warranty department “ rather than a simple refund or exchange opportunity. Very very disappointed about the product and the response to my complaints."
