The most accurate and easiest way to determine your horse’s blanket size is to measure along the side of their body, from chest to tail. First, stand the horse square on a flat surface. Measure from the center of the chest, straight back to the very edge of the tail. Make sure to measure along the widest part of their shoulder and hindquarters. "This fly sheet is very sturdy and well made. However it is quite heavy and stiff and a little awkward to get on sometimes. The fit is good and there seems to be good airflow especially at the side. The temps haven't climbed into the 90s yet so not sure how well it will be tolerated as far as sweating and possible itching underneath it yet. No rubs at the shoulders however so that is a plus."

"This is a very nice fly sheet - it is very well made and substantial, it looks like it will be durable over the long haul. It is heavier than some that I have had (which makes it more durable) but so far does not seem to be overly warm (despite unusually warm spring weather). I will have to report back later whether it is cool enough for summer. But overall, I really like the coverage it provides and the fit on my solidly-build half-bred Connemara.
