The most accurate and easiest way to determine your horse’s blanket size is to measure along the side of their body, from chest to tail. First, stand the horse square on a flat surface. Measure from the center of the chest, straight back to the very edge of the tail. Make sure to measure along the widest part of their shoulder and hindquarters. The number of inches measured in this way is your horse’s size. Look on the size chart for any Schneiders blanket for this number of inches to order your horse’s perfect size.

"The 78" was too tight and the 80" fits awful! It falls to the side or to the back. I am constantly repositioning it. The velcro on the neck cover catches the blanket, bunches it up and snags the fabric. A total waste of money for my horse anyway!"
"It definitely repelled the flies! But the knit material tended to slide backwards but would not slide forward against the hair. So it started rubbing him where his neck meets his chest. I had to undo all the straps to reposition it. Perhaps having a halter on the horse to anchor the attached neck strap would help. But my horses are all on 24 hour turnout and I won't put even a break-away halter on one."

My issue with this sheet is that the Velcro sticks to the material horrible and from my horse grazing the neck just gets bunched up and stuck on the Velcro. Thankfully customer service is great and they are willing to allow me to exchange."

"I used to buy the Bucas zebra sheet but I found the quality of those had declined. The design of this sheet is even better than Bucas. I find this sheet lasts longer and doesn’t rub. Whenever these go on sale I buy another one! It’s nice to have a few so I can wash them."
"I was very excited for this fly sheet. I my horse measured 73in so I decided to order a 72in I figured it would be a little small. When I got it I chose to just put it on without anything on underneath because I didn't have a clean sheet. Plus I figured it would fit. It is big on her but works okay. I will continue to use it. The other thing I found is the velcro on the neck piece when you take the sheet off. The velcro sticks to the fabric and is messing it up. I'm not sure how long it will last. I think it would work better if there were metal clips like on the belly band. I must say I was really happy with the belly band and the closer."
