"I don't work for this company and I don't get kick backs. The Stablehand is the best tool I have ever found to stuff hay bags. When my first one got "accidentally" left behind with a transporter it took me months to find another, so happy I did."
"This item has a bit of a learning curve but it makes filling hay nets so much easier. I find that I have to roll it into a tight cylinder and sort of tuck it under my arm to keep it rolled in order to get it into the hay bag, but once it's in there filling the bag is a snap. I filled 25 hay bags to leave for my barn sitter to feed over the course of a vacation and this filler made it into a reasonable task instead of a horribly frustrating one. Most of the bags were brand new, and filling a bag for the first time is so tough, with this device it was barely harder than an old loose bag. If you fill hay bags regularly I would definitely recommend this tool."

"This is a thick, flexible sheet of plastic, with cut-out handles, that can be inserted into a bag or net to keep it open for filling. I bought it to help me fill half-bale hay nets. It is somewhat awkward to insert -- so far my best technique is to put the net in a clean muck bucket to get the plastic sheet down to the bottom. It makes a tall smooth tube for the hay to slide into. But the muck bucket is a good bit wider than the sheet, and the net is wider still, so there is a length of the net opening that sags with nothing to support it; this tends to snag the hay. I think this tool would also be useful for filling feed bags and the like. Maybe even more useful, as those bags have narrower tops. I'm using it, and it's helping, but it isn't perfect."

It is a bit unwieldy when putting it in the net, but once in the net, it is easy to put in whole, multiple flakes or just handfuls of hay in the nets. You need to keep the hay net up on all sides. It wants to be flat so it stores easily, on top of, behind or between the hay bales."
