Easy-Up® Freehand Feeder with Everlast 2" Slow Feed Hay Net

Overview

Easy to Use, All in One, Hay Loader and Feeder

Enjoy the convenience and savings this all-in-one hay feeding kit offers! With the mounted freehand feeder and included 2" slow-feed hay net, you can quickly and easily fill your hay net, saving you time and money by reducing hay waste. The included slow-feed hay net can help mimic natural grazing patterns by keeping hay in front of your horse longer, supporting healthy digestion. Use this feeder with any size hay net without removing the net for loading outside the stall. Simply remove the front bar from the brackets, load the flake(s) of hay, slide the bar back in, and let your horse eat. Patent Pending.

  • A mounted freehand feeder with an included 2" slow feed hay net
  • Easy to load without taking the hay net down
  • Can be used with any size or brand hay net
  • Dimensions: 26"L X 2"D X 4"H with 1/2" diameter rods
  • Warranty: 5-year against breakage

Pro Tip: To help keep the sides of your hay net open on the frame, we suggest sliding one loop of the hay net on each side through the bracket that holds the rods. This will help hold the sides of the hay net and prevent the net from gathering in the center.

Key benefits

Save Yourself Time and Hassle - Easy to Load

Speed up the time it takes to throw hay with the easy-load design. Simply slide out the front bar, hold it out with one hand, and add the flakes of hay with the other hand inside the included slow-feed hay net before reinserting the rod into the mounted slot to close the top. The included Everlast 2” Slow Feed Hay Net holds approximately 3-4 flakes of hay.

Can Be Safely Left in Stall for Feeding

The safe design allows for use inside the stall as a hay feeder. The wall-mounted unit sits flush against the wall with no sharp edges. The overall dimensions of the wall unit are 26"L X 2"D X 4" H with 1/2" diameter rods. We do recommend removing halter or other headwear that could get caught in the hay net.

Comes with our Durable Everlast 2" Hole Hay Net

This feeder includes our Schneiders® Dura-Tech® Everlast 2" Slow Feed Poly Hay Net, our most durable hay net guaranteed to hold up against the most aggressive eaters and is built to last. 2"x2" slow feed hole size. Can hold between 3-4 flakes of hay and is guaranteed for one year. This feeder will also function with any hay net of your choice.

Easily attach the hay net by sliding the back side of the hay net's top loops through the shorter rear wall rod that sits flush with the wall. Next, insert the rod into the bracket holes and screw on the end ball caps. Leave a few top loops unattached on the sides of the hay net. Finish attaching the hay net on the front bar by sliding the front net loops through the front rod. Bring the unattached side arm to the front rod and connect it with the remaining screw on ball ends. Remove or tie the remaining hay net strap out of the way during use.

Rods Easily Lock into Place

Easily attach a hay net by sliding the back side of the hay net top loops through the rear rod. Leave the sides of the hay net unattached and then slide the front hay net loops through the front rod. Tie the hanging hay net strap out of the way during use.

Easy-Up® 5-Year Warranty

Easy Up FreeHand Feeder. - Not REALLY!

"I bought this item as I have contractor friend who said he'd install it for me. After TWO FAILED ATTEMPTS - he's now watched the video 3 times and will try again this weekend. It's not so easy, folks. I don't recommend it."

I love the Easy-Up Freehand

"I love the Easy-Up Freehand Feeder with Everlast Net I was usually the hay net that you fill . It was time consuming and they are heavy to hang. The easy up free hand feeder is so much more convenient for me. I can lay the hay on the frame and push it down into the net. It’s large enough to hold everything. And the net has thick nylon webbing. I love this product. I’ll never go back."

Melanie W. (5/5)

The net.

"This set up is easy to install, easy to fill and horses don’t seem to mess with it. I’m very pleased with the product so far."

ROBERT F. (5/5)

Easy feeder!

"Love these hay feeders! One hand opens and the other dumps the hay in. Easy peasy!! You won't regret it!"

Donna (5/5)

Love this for easy loading

"I love this so much it makes feeding hay less messy but also easier to fill the net. The biggest issue I have is my horses are fairly rough when eating from the nets and almost every other day I'm searing for one of the balls to reattach the bars properly and currently have a normal screw in the one bar because the one ball got lost during mucking one night. And the top bar on both my feeders is bent."

Shauna (4/5)

I would buy this product again and again

"I use this for my horses stalls. Works great, easy to install, easy to use, very convenient! Highly recommended!"

John (5/5)

Great product

"I bought these for my wife's barn. They are very durable as our horses are a bit rough as they eat their hay. My wife loves how easy it makes giving hay to her horses."
