Keep your blankets performing their best with this specialty cleaner designed to restore water repellency, breathability, and overall performance. Safe for use on horse blankets, turnout sheets, and pet beds, this easy-to-use formula cleans effectively while helping revive insulation to keep your animals warmer, drier, and more comfortable. Designed for both machine and hand washing, the non-flammable, PFAS-free formula is ideal for maintaining all popular blanket brands and animal outerwear.
IMPORTANT: Do not use conventional detergents. Use undiluted Rug Wash to treat stubborn stains before washing.
Industrial, laundromat size machine:
1. Remove all detergent build-up from the detergent dispenser.
2. Place maximum of 1 blanket in washing machine.
3. Add 5fl oz/150ml of Rug Wash.
4. Select a normal cycle using warm/cold water, slow spin and extra rinse if possible.
Hand Wash (use gloves):
1. Add 3.5fl oz/100ml of Rug Wash to 1 gal/3.8L of warm water in laundry tub or sink.
2. Agitate to mix.
3. Use brush to scrub the solution into fabric paying attention to dirty areas.
4. Rinse thoroughly in clean water.
Drying:
Do not dry before waterproofing. Air dry or tumble dry on a low setting if care label allows.
