Good results for a beginner repairing horse blankets

"My go-to blanket wash and repair place is no longer in business, and even with a horse that hardly ever tears anything, I have a stack of blankets that need to be repaired. Decided to try it myself. Scheiders Horse Blanket Repair Tape makes it easy to be a first-timer. The color selection is very good. My horse's color is green and the tape that is not green can be used to repair linings (out of sight, out of mind and all that). I don't work very quickly, but so far, I am happy with the results. Fairly Simple and Quick Fix to avoid further Damage

"Pasturemate took a big bite out of my horse's techno fleece Armor II blanket. It was under warranty, so I ordered a new one and the tape to fix the old. Tape curled a bit upon washing, but mostly stayed on. May have been my fault for not rounding the corners before ironing it on. I was careful not to make the iron too hot per directions. Then I told the rep that it had come off during washing it was replaced. Once the blanket has been cleaned again, I will try another application. Meanwhile it got us through the season."

Very easy to use

"As I cleaned blankets this spring I repaired one with a big hole in it using this repair tape. I cut it to fit and ironed it on. That's it! It seems to be very well adhered to the fabric. We shall see how well it holds next winter when that horse is blanketed again. Fingers crossed."

No so Good repair tape

"I myself really did not lije it very much You put it on a repair , and it seems to unpeel from the fabric , it only stay on for 12 hours . I cleaned with alchol and put on New tape and it did the same thing . . I will not buy anymore of it . . . just Saying"
