The back of the zipper is lined with a soft web to reduce the chance of hair getting caught in the zipper. Bought several of these because
"Bought several of these because the other Lycra neck covers have rubbed all the hair off of my gelding lower shoulders. But the strap that runs under the chest is way too long and the strap that goes across the barrel of my horse is also a bit on the long side. My gelding is 16. 1 and a half Arabian Pinto do he has adequate neck and a full chest. Other then these two areas really happy with these."
