How to Measure a Horse for a Blanket
The most accurate and easiest way to determine your horse’s blanket size is to measure along the side of their body, from chest to tail. First, stand the horse square on a flat surface. Measure from the center of the chest, straight back to the very edge of the tail. Make sure to measure along the widest part of their shoulder and hindquarters. The number of inches measured in this way is your horse’s size. Look on the size chart for any Schneiders blanket for this number of inches to order your horse’s perfect size.

"I love the durability of these sheets and I never have to wonder if my pony is getting wet! The chest straps are enormously long and I will probably cut them down a bit. The back leg straps are oddly sized and will not crisscross between his back legs, but it is working fine and staying in place with them each snapped on their respective side. I really like the longer sides as I often use it as a windbreaker ( we get a lot of wind in the spring and fall in Nevada). BTW my pony is 14. 3 and a bit stocky. All in all, I would buy again, and I got this one at a great price!"
