The VTEK® Medium Weight Blanket
This medium weight stable blanket allows your horse to stay comfortable in cold weather. Breathable Dura-Nylon® 420 denier nylon outer keeps your horse from overheating and the "Original" Adjusta-Fit® System is designed to adjust the size of the neck up to 2", so you get a custom fit no matter the shape of your horse. Is not made to fit a Neck Cover.

From wide to narrow, high head carriage to low, the patented Adjusta-Fit® system customizes the neck opening to fit any horse width or head carriage. This unique feature is what allows the same sheet to fit both a wide Warmblood and a narrow Thoroughbred.

Lightweight warmth for when the tempurature drops below 60 degrees F. If your horse has a medium or thick coat, midweight blankets should be worn below 50 degrees F.
Maintenance Free Nylon Lining
Smooth, shiny nylon lining is 100% breathable and will leave your horse's coat shiny and dust free. The lining will not collect hair or shavings.
Criss-Cross Surcingle Stays in Place
Criss-cross surcingles adjust to keep the blanket from sliding side to side. Comes with locking bands and detachable elastic leg straps for increased security. Brass plated hardware resists corrosion from moisture, manure and detergents.
Snap front for easy on off
Snap front with Hook & Loop Closure allows you to adjust to the perfect amount of snugness at the front of the chest. Double snaps allow for easy on and off.
Leg Straps Included!
Detachable Elastic leg straps help keep the blanket in place. Our leg straps adjust from 20" to 38" and will stretch as horse moves. Set at optimum snugness and use the double brass-plated snaps for easy on and off.

I have a VERY hard
"I have a VERY hard to fit Friesian/Percheron cross to fit her bum and shoulders into something and this blankets fits her perfect. I love the blanket. The only bad part is I am in Canada and have to order it from the US and cant just go shopping at my local tack store for it."
Bad customer service/delivery
"I ordered this replacement blanket, size 78", as an exchange for a size 80". Firstly I was told the size 78" was not available until March but I saw it on the website. Apparently "it came in early", according to customer servcie. I ordered the second blanket with assurance from customer service that it would arrive on a certain date via FedEx. I waited for the expected package and it was cancelled at the end of day. Neither FedEx or Schneiders would do anything to remedy the delivery which was then rescheduled for 5 days later. The customer service at Schneiders was completely unhelpful and they misled me with delivery times. I consequently had to drive 3 1/2 hrs to buy a blanket for my elderly horse (I am in a rural area) as I was let down, after hours on the phone with Schneiders and FedEx. This was very frustrating and has put me off purchasing anything from this company again. While the product itself is acceptable it has not been worth the aggravation and stress. I will be returning the blanket as I cannot stand to see the Schneiders brand on my horse after this experience. I strongly do not recommend this company and will not purchase anything from them again."

Not only am I a repeat customer as I obtain more horses, but anyone who has taken my advice on these blankets are now also repeat customers. These blankets are tough and you can rinse them off and look forward to using them again the next year without the typical repair process of other products."

"This blanket is well fitted and shaped for a horse, not some boxy thing like most. Fits over wither nicely, perfect open shoulder design and covers their behind. It allows movement but stays in place nicely. Strong Buckles with stretchy back straps. Well insulated."
