2
No sweat under it, and a coat that shines

Overview

Classic Warmth Meets Custom Fit

When temperatures drop, your horse deserves warmth without the bulk, and this medium weight stable blanket delivers just that. It’s crafted from tough yet breathable 420 denier Dura-Nylon® to keep your horse warm, dry, and comfortable. Its patented Adjusta-Fit® design lets you fine-tune the neck opening by up to 2 inches, giving a custom fit for nearly any horse shape from narrow Thoroughbreds to wide Warmbloods.

  • 280g insulation perfect for cold weather between 45–50°F
  • Breathable 420D Dura-Nylon® shell prevents overheating
  • Adjusta-Fit® neck allows 2" of adjustability for a snug fit
  • Nylon lining keeps coats sleek, shiny, and dust-free
  • Closed front design eliminates pressure and rubbing

Key benefits

Cutback Wither for Natural Movement

Ideal for horses with an upright head carriage, the cutback wither design leaves the mane free while ensuring the blanket stays in place without shifting or causing rubs. Whether your horse is a high-headed Arabian or simply prefers a proud posture, this feature ensures both comfort and mobility.

Adjusta-Fit® Means One Blanket, Many Horses

No two horses are built the same and that’s exactly why this blanket stands out. The Adjusta-Fit® system allows you to tailor the neck opening to fit any body shape. From slender and refined to broad and brawny, your horse gets a personalized fit that stays secure all day (or night) long.

Reliable Warmth When It’s Chilly

Designed for those brisk days when your horse needs more than a sheet but not quite a heavy blanket, the 280g fill offers just the right warmth. Best suited for temperatures below 50°F, it's a go-to choice for transitional seasons or moderate winters. Horses with thicker coats can wear this down to around 45°F comfortably.

Low-Maintenance Shine Maker

Say goodbye to grooming battles, the smooth, breathable nylon lining not only prevents rubbing and static but also leaves your horse's coat glossy and free from dust or shavings. No hair-collecting fuzz here, just easy maintenance and happy horses.

Straps That Stay Put

The reinforced leg straps and adjustable surcingle are designed to move with your horse, not against them. Locking bands offer extra security, while brass-plated hardware stands up to daily wear, moisture, and even stable life’s messier moments. This blanket stays put, no matter how much your horse moves.

Closed Front That Moves With Them

A deep V cut in the closed front lets your horse lower their head naturally, whether they’re munching hay or lying down without pulling the blanket forward. That means no pressure, no rubbing, and full freedom of motion.

Built to Last, Guaranteed

Durability meets peace of mind with a 2-year guarantee. This blanket is made to handle daily use, tough weather, and all the love (and dirt) your horse can throw at it. It’s a smart investment in long-lasting comfort and protection.

I ❤️ Schneider’s Stable Blankets

"These stable blankets are very durable and easy to use. I was them and pack them up at the end of the season (sometimes in the middle of winter too) and they hold up so nicely. I have not had to replace any blankets yet, I just get new ones for any new horses and some of the blankets I have had for 7+ years. I will always buy from Schneiders. Easy to return if you accidentally order the wrong size, they fit my horses so well, and they are a great value for the money:)."

great blanket!

"I’ve been really happy with the Schneiders® Adjusta-Fit® Dura-Nylon® Cutback Closed Front Leg Strap 280g Medium Weight Stable Blanket. The fit is excellent, especially through the shoulders and neck, and the cutback design helps prevent rubbing on my horse’s mane. The 280g weight is perfect for colder nights without being too bulky, and the blanket feels durable and well-made. I also love how adjustable it is — it stays in place well and doesn’t shift around even with an active horse. The leg straps help keep everything secure, and the closed front gives it a clean, snug fit. Overall, great quality for the price and I would definitely purchase another one."
