Surprisingly effective
"Every fall my horse gets little flakes in his armpits. It starts out innocent but quickly spreads and gets angry (hot to the touch, the hair falls out, and the skin puckers). I worked with my vet last year trying different prescription shampoos, etc to no avail. Finally we put him on a course of Dex to get through a clinic before doing a biopsy. During the course of Dex, I started using Clay Defense upon a friend’s recommendation. It got better but I attributed the improvement to the Dex. Fast forward to this current fall and he started to get it again. I started in with my prescription shampoos and it just got worse so I started the Coat Defense again. Literally after one use I saw an improvement. The skin cooled and wasn’t puckered anymore. I kept going with it and within a week it was completely cured…no Dex this time so I know it was the Coat Defense. Honestly I can’t explain how it works when nothing else did but it just does! I love that you can buy a refill too!"

"We've been using this product here at What If Farms Horse and Donkey Sanctuary for years! (which is why we get the 4 pound bag because we have 15 equine's here in Florida weather!) We like both the powder and the paste. The paste is great for keeping things covered but the powder is great for when you need the area to "breathe" and yet still have the wonderful ingredients penetrate the skin. I highly recommend this product. We do use it in conjunction with other products just so, whatever condition we're dealing with doesn't get desensitized to it. But we always go back to this! Thank you Coat Defense and Schneiders!"
