Applying the Sleeves:

• Roll the sleeves into a doughnut shape (like rolling up a stocking), pick up the leg and stretch over the hoof, roll the sleeve up the leg, and unroll them to cover the area.
  
• To ensure the sleeves don’t slip, we recommend putting one strip of Elastikon around the top of the sleeve(half on sleeve/half on leg).
• When applying, DON’T stretch length wise because the sleeves will want to come back to its original length. To cover a larger area on the limb, we recommend stacking the sleeve. Example: The 2"x10" is made to cover only 10 inches of the limb. To cover more surface area, use an additional sleeve.

Care:

• Wash once a day for 30 seconds by hand, with antibacterial soap. Pat with a towel to dry. 
• If your sleeves appear to be stretched out or lost compression, put them in the dryer for 10 min. on medium heat to shrink them back to original size. 
• Hock Application: When using a solid sleeve on the hock, we recommend cutting a dime sized half circle on the fold (when the sleeve is laying flat.) That is how we make the hole for the calcaneus point of the hock.

• Solid Sleeve: provides 360° even compression, rapidly reduces swelling, provides a protective barrier, relieves injection site swelling and discomfort, helps prevent insect irritations, helps prevent and heal scratches, supports joints while allowing mobility
• Vented Sleeve: provides 360° even compression, surgical dressing/place holder, reduces the need for tape, increases blood flow to aid in healing, supports tendons, reduces swelling while allowing the area to breathe
