Now, with new and improved comfortable elastic, these non-fitted fly boots come in a set of 4 and are affordable and durable. The heavy 1000D poly/vinyl mesh offers your horse maximum comfort and protection from bugs with 70% UV protection - perfect for the horse that likes to play out in the pasture. These boots protect your horse from the bottom of the knee to the coronet band from stable flies and larger biting flies. The fleece around the top and bottom of the boot adds additional comfort while reducing the chances of flies getting inside the non-fitted fly boot.

Fly boots are really great

"I have 2 rescued senior horses in my back yard. . . . . one from a flooded lean to, by a creek and close by and the other from kill shelter. We have discovered that if you do something for one. . . you better do it with the other. . . . The flies are especially bad and I have discovered if I put 2 on each of their front legs, they don't seem to get flies on the back legs. . . weird. I guess I have our flies fooled. . . They work great and so far, they have not kicked them off. . . velcro is holding strong. . . ! We have fans in their stalls up high and along the main part of the barn. We have made it through the icky part of summer, pretty well so far. . . knock on wood. . . . You always send us quality products for our precious critters. . . of all kinds, so thanks to all. . . ."

Not as good a fit as I hoped

"I was hopeful these would stay up and be comfortable. My horse is 16. 3 QH. The horse size is too big at the bottom causing the whole boot to slide down. Within a week he stepped on the bottom and tore the velcro off about 4”. Going to try to sew it. Bigger legged horses it will probably fit better."

"They are good boots the one drawback i will have to say is that if you aren't on perfectly at least on my donkeys legs they will slip off, but with the color they are easy to spot, maybe make the pony size a little smaller like width wise though, overall good boots."
