Key benefits

The Best Insect Protection a Fly Boot Can Offer

The Mosquito Mesh® Fly Boot is made from a 350D extra-fine window screen mesh that provides playful ponies the best fly protection against flying insects, such as gnats, mosquitos, and flies. The 40% UV protection keeps their legs safe in the sun, while the mesh allows for exceptional air circulation and doesn't heat up in the sun, keeping them cool and sweat-free.

Everything You Need to Know About Fly Boots

Non-Fitted Design for Extra Airflow

Non-fitted boots are designed to fit around the top and bottom of the boot to keep flies out while staying off the leg, allowing for exceptional airflow. These are a favorite for those who live in warmer climates. Since the boot stays off the leg and keeps flies away, some love to use this style if their horse is recovering from a leg injury. You don’t have to worry about these boots slouching, you’ll find that the full-length hook and loop closure down the cannon bone, flexible stays, and fleece-lined top and bottoms keep the boots upright during wear.

Made to Withstand Your Playful Pony

The Mosquito Mesh® Fabric is made to withstand your playful pony. Since the flexible stays keep this boot upright, you can turn them out knowing they’ll be protected from biting bugs and stay comfortable all season.

Full-Length Reflective Side Panels

A full-length reflective side panel adds an additional safety element for low light and night turnout and trail riding.

Draft size fly boots

"These are the absolute best fly boots I’ve found for my draft cross. Size is perfect, they stay up never sag and best part east to wash. My girl absolutely loves them - no rub marks either. Best value for fly boots."

Best Fly Boots

"These boots are the only ones that stay up on my draft mare’s legs! They are light and breezy as well. She’s worn them for several months now with no damage to the boots. Very easy to clean as well- you just spray them with a hose."

ANAH L. (5/5)

Julie (5/5)

I ordered these to try

"I ordered these to try to help my Belgian's foot-stomping and scratches and they are terrific. Lightweight, they stay up and dry fast if moistened in the grass. They are tough and are standing up well compared to others I have tried. Am planning to buy another set."

Susan T. (5/5)

Highly recommend these fly boots

"Highly recommend these fly boots as a solution for biting flies and sensitive hooves. I have been using them on my 4 year old gelding and my 23 year old mare and noticed huge relief. Their hooves still look great, due to less stomping. The fly boots stay on and up and for my young guy, he still has all four! I haven't had to walk the paddock once to find them. My horses are outside 24/7 so I wanted something that was not restricting and easy to use. The velcro remains strong and they are very easy to take on and off. It also took no time for either of my horses to get used to them. Very happy with these fly boots!"

Hester P. (5/5)

I can't stop ordering these. . .

"I can't stop ordering these. . . they are the best for a tough boy who likes to play rough. He loves these boots and doesn't let anyone take them off of him."

Heather H. (5/5)

great boots love the foam at top and bottom

"These fly boots fit my QH and taller standardbred with no issues. The foam at the top and bottom keep them from rubbing their legs. I love the reflective stripe. Both horses turned out 24/7 with a shed, they have been wearing them for about a month. Easy to clean and the mesh is soft. More colors please!!"

Randy A. (5/5)
