"I like these fly masks. They are the first masks my horses have kept on all day. Well, most days lol. The only down side i have found is that small grass, seeds can get caught in the mesh. Could be annoying or uncomfortable of it rubs on their faces. I thought ihad ordered the white ones but apparently I ordered the gray. They can still see each other's eyes though. I think seeing each other's eyes helps with them not tearing them off of each other."

"The velcro seems durable and I like the material. But it does require a certain shape of face. For most of mine the eye darts are not large or wide enough. So the mask is rubbing their eye lashes."

It is nearly impossible to clean it off. I picked, I used a variety of brushes. It's virtually useless now because the velcro attachments don't stick. Terrible design."
"Overall, very nice quality. My horse has very big, wide-set eyes and I don't feel the mesh stands away from his eyes like it could, it is a softer fabric than the Cashel brand. It does seem cooler than the Cashel, as he doesn't sweat so much when wearing this one. Also, we have sandburs and they do get stuck in the fleece lining. "I have tried several different brands of fly masks and the Schneiders® Mosquito Mesh® II Fly Mask with Ears has outlasted the others and is very high quality! Both of our mustangs suffer from sweet itch so they do alot of rubbing. The heavy duty mesh helps keep them protected from midges and other insects. The double velcro latches are definitely a bonus and I especially like that the neck covers attach to the fly mask to help keep everything in place. The fleece trim also is more gentle on their head and neck especially when they wear these a majority of the time. Will be purchasing more in the future!"
