Our V-Free® Wither Relief fly sheets are designed to prevent rubbing and relieve pressure on low to moderate-withered horses. With the larger neck opening and sloped neckline that covers the shoulders, this fit is designed specifically for Arabians, Quarter Horses, Stock breed horses, or those with sloped shoulder conformation. The drop on these sheets is longer than a stable sheet, allowing a slight wrap around the barrel. Darts at the hip form a contoured fit around the rump. V-Free® Wither Relief sheets begin where the mane ends, leaving the mane uncovered with fleece placed where the mane meets the sheet, further preventing rubbing.
The open front option features double front snaps with new and improved wider hook and loop closures, allowing you to easily adjust the fly sheet for the perfect amount of “snugness” at the front of the chest. Plus, the snaps make it easy to put on and remove.

"This is the third fly sheet like this that I have purchased. They are absolutely the best for keeping all bugs away from the horses. The fit is perfect for my Saddlebreds. The only complaint I have is that the tail cover is rubbing one horses tail quite badly. Other than this, the sheets are perfect!!"
"This is the second fly sheet, exact same model I have purchased. While my mare is typically good to not destroy her "clothes", they have lasted between 3 and 4 summers. That's great durability. Also!! I have witnessed on two separate occasions horse flies trying to bite through the fly sheets and failing. The horses didn't even realized a horse fly had landed on them. Schneiders doesn't advertise this benefit but it is real and how grateful I am for it. This is the only fly sheet for me."
"This fits my big Appendix mare and her neck and shoulders well, no rubs. She gets welts from bug bites and this helps significantly. No welts where she is covered. Very lightweight, great color. No rips so far. I would love if the tail flap was almost twice as long."

I have owned older Schneiders fly sheet styles that fit better, felt more durable, and were much better made. Unfortunately, this newer style does not compare, and I would not purchase it again."

I have no problems with the fit of other blankets in her usual size but this one doesn’t let me close the belly band even fully extended. My horse is not overweight. Company won’t let me return it because I wrote on the tag, even though the blanket is unused and clean. Very disappointing."
