Key benefits
A Fly Sheet with the BEST UV Protection
This sheet offers your miniature horse the best UV protection. It's constructed with a 300D soft and comfortable polyester mesh material with an 80% UV protection rating. It allows for ample airflow for those horses that live in warm climates and insect protection against small to medium-sized insects, such as gnats and flies. So, if you're looking for a fly sheet to protect your horse from damaging UV rays, this fly sheet is perfect!
All About the Attached Neck Euro Fit
Our Attached Neck Euro fly sheets fit straight from the withers through the back for a comfortable fit for ALL breeds with the innovative SilverTek™ antibacterial nylon lining. The attached neck connects to the sheet with a stretchy lycra that allows your horse to put their head down to graze comfortably. It also prevents the sheet from slipping forward, maintaining coverage no matter the conditions. With the Attached Neck Euro Fit, your horse will be protected from ears to tail.
An Open Front Design with Front Buckles for Easy On and Off
The open front design features double front buckles with new and improved wider hook and loop closures, allowing you to easily adjust the fly sheet for the perfect amount of “snugness” at the front of the chest. Plus, the buckles make it easy to put on and remove.
SilverTek® Lined Chest, Shoulders, and Tail
A breathable 70D SilverTek® Nylon lining has been included on the front chest, shoulders, and tail flap. This technology has proven antibacterial properties that reduce rubs, odor, and irritations that may cause your horse discomfort during the hot summer months. When it comes into contact with bacteria or other microorganisms, the silver ions are released from the fabric, distributing their cell membranes and interfering with their metabolic processes. As a result, growth is inhibited, reducing the number of bacteria on the fabric’s surface. This keeps your horse healthier and the fabric cleaner, even after extended use and wear.
Better Gusset Design for Additional Freedom
The reinforced gussets extend higher and more forward to allow a greater range of motion when your mini gets up from lying down, walking, or playing in the pasture.
Bellyband Closure for Extra Protection
The bellyband closure option protects from flies and midges biting along the sensitive underbelly. Chrome-plated hardware is positioned to avoid rubbing or poking while your mini horse is lying down, and the t-post hardware on the bellyband closure includes locking bands and incorporates elastic inserts for more give as the horse moves since the proper fit is with the bellyband snug and flush to the belly.
SilverTek® Lined Extra-Large Tail Cover for Extra Protection
The extra-large tail cover protects from flies attacking the sensitive area underneath the tail. The added SilverTek® nylon lining reduces potential hair breakage, keeping your horse’s tail fuller and looking better!
Reflective Stripes for Added Safety
For extra safety precautions, we’ve added highly visible reflective stripes on the flanks and tail for extra visibility in low light and night turnout.
Leg Straps Included
Set the sheet at the optimum snugness with the included detachable elastic leg straps that help keep the sheet in place. They adjust from 20" to 38" and stretch as the horse moves with double chrome-plated snaps for easy on and off.

How to Measure a Horse for a Blanket
The most accurate and easiest way to determine your horse’s blanket size is to measure along the side of their body, from chest to tail. First, stand the horse square on a flat surface. Measure from the center of the chest, straight back to the very edge of the tail. Make sure to measure along the widest part of their shoulder and hindquarters. The number of inches measured in this way is your horse’s size. Look on the size chart for any Schneiders blanket for this number of inches to order your horse’s perfect size.

When I could not find
"When I could not find the Amigo Petite Bug Rug with the true belly band in the size I needed anywhere, I decided to try this one. So glad I did!! highly recommend this bug rug. !! Love the all over coverage and the belly band worked great. I did size down (mini measured 48” and I sized down to 44”) and it fit perfect!! Mini is in a dry lot with trees and it has held up great with all his rubbing against the trees and rolling on the ground. He has hair again on his neck belly and tail!! Very happy with this purchase."

Mini Fly Sheet
"I am very happy to report that this fly sheet for my little mini “Boom” fits perfectly and is in correct proportions. Finally a mini sized fly sheet that fits and protects. Thank you! 🖤"
I wish they made it
"I wish they made it without the neck, but this fit perfectly every where else besides that. It’s super soft. It does its job and has not picked yet and I have had it on him for over a month. Side note: I hope Schneiders comes out with a mosquito mesh one without the neck for minis!"
Love this fly sheet!
"Great quality and fit. This will keep my mare happy in summer!"
Full coverage fly sheet
"My mini is 8h and weighs about 200 lb. He wears a 42 in other brands. This is a little large for him, but I don’t mind that in a fly sheet! The belly band fits well; hood MUST be attached to halter or mask in order to stay in place – otherwise it just falls down the neck. This sheet is nicely made and I like the material. We’ll see how it wears as the summer continues!"
