"Work well"
"I have no problems with them staying up even when not done up too tight overnight however they didn't serve their purpose. I bought them because my boy is prone to hock rubs from how he kicks his legs while dreaming (yes strange horse) and these made his finally healing rub open up bleeding each night (tried them for 3 nights). They still seem fluffyish but it must be either because theyre not thick enough or because shavings get in and cause irritation. Either way, they serve me no use so I've stopped using them."
"These hocks boots are exactly as described. Have made a huge difference and allowed my horses hock sores to heal up. Will order again."
"They work And Stay on!! Only 1 has come off 1 time, being used 24/7 for 3 month (granted, he does go outside in a paddock by himself and has limited mobility). Hock sores are healed!!!!"
"I bought them to use on my mare. If you put them on tight enough to stay on, they cut into the front of the hock. If they are the least bit looser, they will not stay on and you will find them in floor of the stall. Not worth what I paid for the!"
"I have been trying to find a reliable hock protector for my horse for ages and this is the only one that stays on, doesn't bother him and best of all really and truly protects his hocks from pebbles and stones on the ground. He is not very agile and so when he raises himself from the ground his hocks would often get grazed by the stones. The other great thing is that they don't make him sweat (here in hot Spain) and I imagine that in the winter they will give him some warmth in the joints there."
"It's very welll made and easy to use. It took me a few tries to figure out how tight to make it but now they work beautifully every night. I'll definately but these again."
"These help my mares hock sores heal while preventing new ones from forming. They're easy to clean, adjustable on both sides of the straps, and she seems comfy wearing them. I'd definitely repurchase if ever lost or worn out!"
"So far so good. A little small for my warmblood but seems well made."
