EquineSleeve® Vented Pairs

Overview

EquineSleeve® Vented Pairs
The EquineSleeve is a flexible, nonwoven tubular compression sleeve for horses made from a proprietary thermoplastic elastomer compound. It's latex-free, antimicrobial, hypoallergenic, and non-medicated. The sleeve conforms to the leg, and the ease of use nearly eliminates the risk of a bandage bow and vastly reduces the need for additional bandaging materials. The hypoallergenic feature allows you to apply the sleeve directly to the skin with little concern of irritation. Thermography studies demonstrate no blood flow restriction to the hoof after 12 hours of use. The flexible nature of the sleeve allows for joint mobility, thus allowing the animal to move about with ease when wearing.
  • Vented EquineSleeve provides 360° even compression
  • Perfect for holding surgical dressing
  • Reduces the need for tape
  • Increases blood flow to aid in healing
  • Supports tendons
  • Reduces swelling while allowing the area to breathe
  • Reusable, get a dozen of uses per sleeve
  • 1" diameter sleeves for ponies, thoroughbreds, and quarter horse types
  • 2" diameter sleeves are recommended for warmblood and draft types
  • The 2" diameter is the most common size needed for hocks. They can also be used on faces or cut open to be used around additional areas of the body.
  • If manufacture's defects are detected (before ever being applied to animal), EquineSleeve will send a replacement at no charge or refund customers money (excluding shipping).
  • When using, do not excessively stretch the sleeve along the limb for extra coverage. If the area of coverage is greater than the length of the sleeve (10" or 8"), an additional sleeve should be used to cover the area.

The equine sleeve product is a game changer! The elastic material stretches very easily, and holds the bandages up. The slotted sleeve allows for maximum airflow while holding a bandage tight to a wound. Gone are the days of hoping the wraps stay up! After you use them, just spray them off and you are ready for the next time. We recommend you put a couple of these in every vet box!

Unfortunately, they are not very

"Unfortunately, they are not very durable. My 35-year-old horse needed some support due to the humidity, causing her joints to swell and not being very mobile. She was in her stall because it hurt to walk so it’s not like she was roughhousing and they’ve already ripped after three wears."

Short Term Solution

"Offered non-constricting support for my horse’s swollen ligament. It does break down and starts to crack the material if you use fly sprays, etc."

Not perfect but still very useful

"There’s a lot sadly these that I really like! They are very easy to clean and put on. They are really stretchy so they aren’t too restrictive in high movement areas. I had a hard time keeping them up even with putting elastic adhesive bandage on the top and bottom. I don’t want to count that as too much of a ding against the product because the area I was using it on was the knee and I had a hard time restricting his movement. Overall I think they will be really useful and I’m happy with my purchase!"

Very stretchy

"These are great, however, I wish I would have gotten the smaller size b/c I bought two pairs (sale item) the smaller size was not part of the sale or they were out of stock. I think these are very good invention, though!!!! Thank you"
