"My 25 yr old Insulin resistant TW gelding has been taking this the last few years. Most noticeable is how cresty he gets, especially in the winter. But for the things I can't see, I keep him on it. Normally, I cut back for the summer. Considering year round now to be safe."

Recommended by my Vet

"My Vet recommended this supplement for my horse. While my horse tested negative for metabolic diseases, he still had some of the signs. This supplement has really made him less foot sore. It smells good and he seems to enjoy the flavor."

"Have used hero now on my horse for years. She had gotten laminitis ski years ago and I still have her and she's doing great and he's back on the grass. It does exactly what it says it's going to do. Love this product"

"Our 30 plus yo gelding started to be a slow shedder. After a month on HEIRO, he’s shedding, filling in along his topline and his pot-belly is reduced. We will see how he looks come spring!"

Hoping Heiro will be my horse's hero!

"My 8 year old Arabian was diagnosed with EMS by blood work this year, never foundered but has cresty neck when turned out on pasture. Hoping this product will safely allow him some pasture time to be with his herd. Just started using the product, horse doesn't hesitate to eat it."

Needs adequate research

"Seems to be helping keep the horse from developing Equine Cushing Syndrome. It would be nice to see the manufacturer provide double blind studies to prove the allegation that this product really works rather than anecdotal reports."
