Schneiders® Mosquito Mesh® Hybrid II V-Free® Adjusta-Fit® Surcingle Fly Sheet

It’s designed with an extra fine Mosquito Mesh® on the chest and back and a Soft Interlock Mesh on the sides, offering insect protection from small to medium-sized bugs, such as mosquitos, gnats, and flies. Plus, it features reflective stripes for safety and SilverTek® technology with antibacterial nylon lining on the chest, shoulders, and tail flap. It comes in our comfortable V-Free® Wither Relief fit option that relieves pressure on low to moderate-withered horses, such as Arabians, Quarter Horses, and other Stock breeds. The extra large tail cover protects the sensitive area under the tail from flies and biting insects. Other comfort fit features include an adjustable surcingle closure, our original Adjusta-Fit® customizable neck opening, and a gusset designed for a better range of motion.

The 350D Mosquito Mesh® fabric covers the chest and back of the horse to protect your horse from the smallest insects, like gnats, flies, and mosquitos, with a 40% UV protection rating. The 450D Soft Interlock Mesh® covers the sides to protect your horse from the sun with an 80% UV protection rating. The fabrics contour to your horse’s body for a comfortable, breathable fit with plenty of airflow, keeping your horse cool while they lightly play in the pasture.

Our V-Free® Wither Relief fly sheets are designed to prevent rubbing and relieve pressure on low to moderate-withered horses. With the larger neck opening and sloped neckline that covers the shoulders, this fit is designed specifically for Arabians, Quarter Horses, Stock breed horses, or those with sloped shoulder conformation. The drop on these sheets is longer than a stable sheet, allowing a slight wrap around the barrel. Darts at the hip form a contoured fit around the rump. V-Free® Wither Relief sheets begin where the mane ends, leaving the mane uncovered with fleece placed where the mane meets the sheet, further preventing rubbing.

Fly Fit Guide

The open front design features double front snaps with new and improved wider hook and loop closures, allowing you to easily adjust the fly sheet for the perfect amount of “snugness” at the front of the chest. Plus, the snaps make it easy to put on and remove.

The criss-cross surcingle closure option adjusts to keep the fly sheet from sliding side to side. Brass-plated hardware comes with locking bands and detachable elastic leg straps for increased security.
